The result of a movie is not a small piece of paper to predict before release and the level if hype fir the movie decides for a major part for hit or flop. The hype level should be maintained according to what the movie has in it and deliver the movie at a right time. These movies were flopped at theatre for various reasons but surprisingly a hit in television premieres. quite hilarious!


1. Jagadam


Jagadam is an Action-Drama film directed by Sukumar. This film stars Ram, Isha Sahani, Pradeep Rawat, and Prakash Raj in important roles. The film was produced by Aditya Babu.The film released in march 2007 and although received positive reviews from critics was commercially a failure. These reviews helped only after television premieres it seems.


2. Jai Chiranjeeva


Jai Chiranjeeva an Action, Comedy-drama film directed by K. Vijaya Bhaskar and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies. Chiranjeevi, Bhoomika Chawla and Arbaaz Khan have played the lead roles. This film's appeal inspired to be remade in Bengali as Ziddi Mama. The film received mixed allover and was an average grosser but later on taken television under control.


3. Namo Venkatesa


Namo Venkatesa starring Venkatesh and Trisha was directed by Srinu Vytla and produced by 14 Reels Entertainment and Suresh Productions jointly. The film received mixed and positive reviews The film somehow managed get hit status but not a deserved and expected result comparing to its Television success.


4. Bujjigadu


Bujjigadu is directed by Puri Jagannadh and produced by K. S. Rama Rao. Prabhas plays the lead role where Trisha Krishnan and Sanjana played the heroine roles. The film has been dubbed into Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam where it received a strong support from Rajinikanth fans as the tamil dubbed title was Kumaran Rajini Rasigan.


5. Oosaraveli


Oosaravelli is action thriller film starring N.T.Rama Rao Jr. and Tamannaah Bhatia directed by Surender Reddy. The film released across 1,800 screens worldwide with huge hype and recorded the highest opening day by grossing ₹16.3 crore but somehow ended as an above average venture but was huge hit in television.


6. Neninthe


Neninthe is a Telugu masala film written and directed by Puri Jagannadh. Ravi Teja and Siya playing the lead roles. Though this film failed miserably at the box office, it won three Nandi Awards and successful television premieres too.


7. Khaleja


Khaleja is an action comedy - philosophy film starring Mahesh Babu and Anushka Shetty directed by Trivikram Srinivas. Prakash Raj plays the antagonist role. The film received widespread critical acclaim but didn't perform much in box office.


8. 143


143 (and i miss You) is directed, written, and produced by Puri Jagannadh starring Sairam Shankar and Samiksha in the lead roles. The movie introduces Sairam Shankar, brother of director Puri Jagannadh as the lead actor. The movie received positive reviews and also fared good at the box office! It was a humongous hit in Television.


9. Aarya 2


Arya 2 is a comedy romance film directed by Sukumar, and is a follow-up to the actor's and the director's previous successful film, Arya. Allu Arjun and Kajal Aggarwal play the lead roles. The film was dubbed in Malayalam, Tamil and Oriya with the same title while it became a blockbuster in Kerala. Some scenes were recreated with Malayali-based scenes for this. Allu Arjun gained huge fan base in Kerala through this film. But failed to meet expectations of telugu audience in theatres later on picked up as an addiction movie in television!


10. Balu


Balu ABCDEFG is an action crime film directed by A. Karunakaran. This film stars Pawan Kalyan, Shriya, and Neha Oberoi. The movie was a below average grosser at the box office but had a good response in Television premiere TRPs which was a late pickup.
