Vijay has two festive releases lined up in 2022 which is expected to make him dominate the box office charts for the whole year.

Interestingly, 2020 is the only year in his entire career where he has gone on without a movie release. master was expected to release for april 2020 but it got delayed to 2021 january due to Pandemic.
Being so, Vijay is set to rule the kollywood again next year as well. He is currently doing ‘Beast’ with budding director Nelson. Top MD Anirudh composes music for the film while pooja hegde is playing the female lead. The movie is expected to hit the screens for pongal 2022.
The latest update is that his next movie after beast as well will be released in 2022. He’s joining hands with vamsi paidipally for the first time. The movie announcement is to happen shortly with the shoot to start by February. The movie is expected to be completed soon and to be released for diwali 2022. Thus, with 2 festive releases Vijay is expected to dominate the year 2022.
