The dominance of heroes in the telugu industry has been high since then. Most of the stories are about the hero. The heroine is the only glamor attraction to the movie. However, there are very few films that favor the heroine.

The on-screen images of the heroine in the lead role are also minimal. Even so, owning one is still beyond the reach of the average person. But like heroine Vijayashanti and Roja, they changed the trend and set their brand.

The audience was impressed by the selection of images that were more important to the heroine. The first film that comes to mind in the history of cinema is "Osey Ramulamma".

The film, which shook the telugu industry, is a milestone in the history of tollywood cinema. "Osey Ramulamma" is the next film to be released in the same vein as "Resistance". When the film was released in 1997, four Star Heroes films were already in competition at the box office.

However, little is said about the film, which surpassed them and turned the audience on their side. Inspired by Poolan Devi, Darshakaratna dasari narayana rao decided to shoot a periodical film with a strong emphasis on women.

Tadavu started his work as expected and set out to write a wonderful story. The same thing was discussed with film personalities R. narayanamurthy and he said that it would be good to add that back drop to the story you think in the context of Telangana.

With that idea, he read many books on the telangana struggle at that time, Nizam rule, Razakars, aristocracy and built the story based on them. Initially, the title of the film was "Ramulamma" and they later added Sanjay before Osey saying that osey ramulamma is the right fit for the story, so the title should be finalized.

Sanjay and dasari narayana rao thought that the decision taken after the release of the film was correct.
