Late actor Irfan Khan was the first choice option for dangal who was later replaced by Aamir Khan.
Dangal is the biggest blockbuster to ever release in India. The movie went on to create multiple box office records while as well being raved by critics for providing a soulful sports drama. Apparently, an interesting pre-production info about the movie has surfaced after 5 years. Nitesh Tiwari has revealed that the movie was written with late actor Irfan Khan in mind. Unfortunately, Irfan was busy with other films and after knowing about the script Amir Khan he himself contacted to kickstart the movie. Interestingly, aamir khan also co-produced the movie, such was his belief in the movie.
