Akshay Kumar, the bollywood superstar, just revealed his new flick. The film Gorkha is a biography of Major General Ian Cardozo, a legendary officer of the indian Army's Gorkha regiment (5th Gorkha Rifles). Akshay also unveiled the film's first look poster.

"Sometimes you come across tales so inspirational that you just want to make them," Akshay tweeted alongside the poster. One such movie is #Gorkha, which is based on the biography of distinguished military hero Major General Ian Cardozo. I'm honoured to play the part of a legend in this unique film."



The actor is shown carrying a Khukri. Meanwhile, Major Manik M Jolly, an ex-Army officer from the Gorkha regiment, pointed out the error on the poster. He claims that the Khukri does not resemble the one depicted in the ad. The ex-Army colonel requested that the Khukri be done correctly. Also, the sharp edge is on the other side, according to the storey. It isn't a sword at all. Khukri hits from the blade's inner side.

Akshay thanked the officer for pointing out the error and promised him that the filming will be done with extreme caution. Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan is directing Gorkha. The initiative is being funded by Aanand L Rai and Himanshu Sharma.
