Bangarraju picks off where soggade chinni nayana left off. chinna Bangarraju is carrying on the heritage of the titular figure, who is now in a heavenly abode (Naga Chaitanya). He is the Sivapuram village's playboy. But he can't seem to persuade naga Lakshmi (Krithi Shetty), the village Sarpanch, to understand him. Meanwhile, the riches of the Sivapuram temple have piqued the interest of some.

They won't be able to get it unless chinna Bangarraju is removed from the equation. The overall plot revolves around why Bangarraju (Nagarjuna) returns to earth and how he aids chinna Bangarraju, both personally and against evil powers. Bangarraju is a perfect fit for king Akkineni Nagarjuna. It's a role tailor-made for him, and it shows in every frame, with him exuding the kind of fire and magnetism that only he can.

There are no major intense scenes in this film. It's a lighthearted scene, and nagarjuna breezes right through it. naga chaitanya portrays the same role with the same personality features, and then we witness the change. It's easy to see the difference in screen presence. There is nothing more in it for naga chaitanya but the way of speaking that connects him to the genuine Bangarraju. Definitely this movie is a clear festival winner!
