It's pointless to hold leaves after they've caught fire, and it appears that the producers of Sarkaaru Vaari Paata haven't even considered it. While this picture, which was released two weeks ago, has already lost its lustre, they are now devising ineffective measures. The movie completed its theatrical run with the arrival of f3 in cinemas already.

Many speculated that the makers of Parasuram's SVP would heavily promote the much-discussed film after its debut. They were anticipated to upload not just the extremely popular Ma Ma Mahesha song to YouTube, but also the hitherto unavailable Muraari Vaa song. That would have increased buzz about the picture and helped drive more people to the theatres.

Rather than doing so, now that the film has lost its lustre and at a time when films like Adivi Sesh's Major and Kamal Hassan's vikram are attracting a lot of interest due to their june 3rd release dates, it's pointless to add SVP's song to the silver screen version. At the very least, posting the film on YouTube would have generated more buzz for it. Sarkaaru Vaari Paata, on the other hand, is already known to be available on amazon Prime Video on a pay-per-view basis.
