RD Burman asha bhosle love Story: asha bhosle was not ready to marry Pancham da, then it was made like this

Today is the birthday of RD Burman i.e. rahul dev Burman, who gave a new dimension to music in the world of indian cinema. From the 60s to the 90s, his songs became a big hit. Even today people like to listen to his songs. RD Burman was affectionately called 'Pancham Da' by all. He composed music for more than 300 films. He was the most successful music director in the country to date.

He not only established himself in the world of music but also made kishore kumar and asha bhosle superstar singers. Pancham da fell in love with famous singer asha bhosle and proposed marriage in front of her. Asha Tai also had a love for Pancham da, but she refused to marry them. There was a period of love and denial for a long time and eventually, both of them became each other.

Pancham Da was born on 27 june 1939 in the house of famous musician Sachin Dev Burman (SD Burman). Pancham Da himself, who made the whole world dance to the tune of his music and felt love, was also very romantic in his personal life. There was a time when he was giving heart to Asha Bhosle. When he proposed to asha bhosle for marriage, singer turned down her proposal in a jiffy. But, Pancham Da finally convinced asha bhosle to get married. The love story of both is quite interesting.

Please tell me that Pancham Da had done two marriages. The first marriage was with rita Patel, but later they got divorced. This was also the second marriage of Asha Bhosle. RD Burman first met asha bhosle in the early 1970s. After the divorce, Pancham Da was alone in the journey of life. Here, Asha Bhosle's husband Ganpatrao Bhosle also passed away in 1966. Both were alone in the journey of their respective lives.

Asha and Pancham Da worked well together. Songs like 'Piya Tu Ab To Aaja' and 'Dum Maro Dum' which brought asha bhosle to fame and awards, were composed by Pancham Da.

Another interesting anecdote related to the marriage of asha bhosle and Pancham Da is related to Lata Mangeshkar. lata mangeshkar became Pancham Da's elder sister-in-law in the relationship. He used to call her 'Didi'. Both of them also gave many superhit songs together. lata mangeshkar mentioned her unbreakable relationship with Pancham Da in chaitanya Padukone's book 'RD Barmania'.

According to lata mangeshkar, 'When Pancham and Asha got married, Pancham told me that Didi, we do not want any expensive gift from you. If you want to give me something then write a counseling letter for me and tell me what should I do and what not for a beautiful married life. lata mangeshkar had told that Pancham da kept that letter of lata mangeshkar for the rest of her life.

Pancham Da and asha bhosle, who were in love with each other, had become life partners. But his journey was very short. Let us inform you that Pancham Da died due to cardiac arrest on january 4, 1994, at the age of 54 and he went away from Asha Tai forever.
