Prudhvi Raj, a tollywood comedian-villain-turned-politician who, till a few days ago, showed greater loyalty to the ysr congress party president and chief minister Y S jagan Mohan reddy than a king, has since become a disgruntled individual. In january 2020, Prudhvi, who gained fame in the industry for his dialogue "30 Years Industry" and served as the ysr congress party secretary, was fired from his position as chairman of Sri Venkateshwara Bhakti Channel due to the release of an audio cassette that revealed his alleged sexcapade.

Prudhvi hasn't visited the YSRC since since jagan has barred him for tarnishing the party's name. After a few years of political obscurity, he suddenly made headlines when he offered an unreserved apologies to megastar chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, and their other family members. This waning comedian-villain was brought to light by Andhra Jyothy managing director V Radhakrishna, who doesn't miss an occasion to poke fun at YSRC and jagan Mohan reddy, and was given the chance to express his resentment during his Open-heart with rk show on Sunday.

Prudhvi took full use of this chance to strike Jagan. He claimed that because of their frustration with Jagan's rule, the people of Andhra have decided to remove him. He made fun of the jagan government by claiming that its citizens were dependent on fake alcohol and spent all of their money on it. He apologised to the amaravati farmers for referring to them as paid performers. "I recognise their spirit of resistance and acknowledge my error. I beg your pardon for using foul language on you when you were in YSRCP," he remarked.
