Ryan Reynolds revealed the date for the third Deadpool movie on Tuesday. This will be the first Deadpool movie to be a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe since Disney acquired 20th Century Studios a few years ago.

Hard keeping my mouth stitched shut on this one, he wrote in the tweet's caption, alluding to the character's screen debut in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. The actor says at the start of the video that he has been working thinking of ways to make Deadpool's MCU debut special. Reynolds can be seen in a variety of funny images slouching over a computer and wandering leisurely while trying to come up with ideas. I really had to seek my soul on this one, he admits. With one exception, though, his attempts were in fruitless since he was at a loss for words.

Reynolds asks as a man walks across the screen behind him, "Hey Hugh, want to play Wolverine one more time?" "Yeah, fine, Ryan," replies Jackman. Jackman famously declared his exit from the superhero role in the 2017 movie Logan. The sole theme of the film's advertising was that Jackman will never again play Wolverine. Wolverine was actually brutally slaughtered at the end of the film and laid to rest. james Mangold, the Logan director, angered fans by tweeting a clip of Wolverine being impaled on a log in that film, giving the idea that he was upset about the character's "unretirement."
