Om Raut, the director of the film Adipurush, has broken the silence for the first time regarding the negative response to the teaser. He defended his film and said that he is disappointed with the memes and also the trolls. However, Om Raut of the film said that he was not surprised by such a response. He had guessed it somewhere. He said that when people will see the film in theatres, their reaction will be completely different to this VFX.

Om Raut further said, 'I am not even surprised by the criticism the teaser is getting because people have seen it only on the small screen. We want people to come and watch the film because it is Ramayana...we have to reach as many people as possible. So, as I said, I am not surprised because this film is not made for the small screen. It is made for the big screen and I can't show it on the small screen.

Let us tell you that on october 2, the teaser of the film was released grandly in Ayodhya. This 1 minute 50 second teaser is being trolled a lot on social media. Many people have criticized its VFX.
