Trisha is aging like a fine wine and after the success of PS-1 movie she is getting numerous offers. When her 18-year-old telugu film varsham was recently played in a theatre, actor trisha was astounded by the audience's response. To honour Prabhas' 20 years in the entertainment industry, the movie was played at a theatre in Hyderabad. The actress from Ponniyin Selvan: I posted a video of her supporters applauding for her on Social media.

The lead actors in Veeru Potla's film varsham were prabhas and Trisha. trisha portrayed Shailaja, a pluviophile with a supernatural bond to rain, in the movie. At the time, the romantic comedy about star-crossed lovers was a great sensation. More than 175 days were spent with it in theatres. Later, the movie was remade as Mazhai (2005) in tamil and baaghi (2016) in Hindi.

Now, she is confirmed to be part of Vijay's next venture and she attended the pooja earlier today. trisha last appeared in the critically acclaimed Ponniyin Selvan: I directed by Mani Ratnam.
