In Korea, Nora (Greta Lee) and Hae Sung (Teo Yoo) were childhood pals. However, when Nora's family immigrates to Canada, they are compelled to separate ways. Hae Sung returns to New York City, where Nora is now a playwright, twenty-four years later. Prior to their breakup, Hae Sung and Nora had a brief online reunion twelve years before. Nora and Hae Sung, who are both in their mid-30s, can't help but feel compelled to one another like a moth to a flame. They reflect on their early years while getting to know the adults they have evolved into.
