The actor is seen as one of the leading directors in tamil cinema with the film Naan Sigapu Manman opposite Rajinikanth. S.A. chandrasekhar, who has been directing films from time to time, has also proved his talent as an actor in films such as Nayipudai, Kodi, and Traffic Ramasamy. On 3rd february last, the film Nan Kadavul Ilai, directed by SA chandrasekhar, was released and received critical acclaim.
Meanwhile, he performed worship at ramanathaswamy temple in Rameswaram yesterday. After taking a dip in the Agni Tirtha sea there, he performed special worship by offering Kumbha for the welfare of his family. Later Swamy had darshan after taking bath in 22 holy theerthas in ramanathaswamy temple. Following this, SA chandrasekhar, who met the media, said that he had come to the temple to thank the Lord. And it was the Lord who elevated him to this level on the platform. Continuing, he said that not everyone who has worked has risen. He mentioned that it was shiva who composed him in that way. And cinema is what keeps us alive. The reason for his son Vijay's growth is not only hard work and self-confidence but also their prayers to God, SA chandrasekhar said.He also said that every prayer is to thank Vijay's family and millions of tamil fans who love him. On the other hand, SA chandrasekhar has said that tamil cinema is currently going in a healthy direction.
