GDP of India: indian economy for July-September grew by 8.4%

The Official data was released on november 30th, 2021 stating that India's GDP(Gross Domestic Product) for the year 2021-2022 in the second quarter showed a growth rate of 8.4%. The growth shows a comparative increase from the second quarter of last year where the GDP had been declined by 7.4% due to the Covid-19 hit.

The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation said that GDP in Q2 2021-22 at constant(2011-2012) prices are Rs.35.73 lakh crore against 32.97 lakh crore in Q2 2020-2021 which showed a growth of 8.4 % when compared to 7.4% in Q2 2020-2021.
                           The previous quarter showed the indian economy growing with a percentage of 20.1%. The July-September quarter had risen to 8.61% in Q2. The second quarters for the GDP numbers were mostly by the brokerages and Financial Institutions. India's growth had reached the economy of 8.3% and closed it with 9.4% in FY22.
The sbi had predicted that India's growth will be 8.1% for the 2nd quarter and in the range of 9.3-9.6% during the 2022 fiscal. Wall Street Brokerage Goldman estimated India's growth as 9.1% for the year 2022.
