Now the actress tasted a failure with the Anando Brahma remake the horror-comedy Petromax and has committed to her next project in bollywood which is the remake of the 2014 tamil hit Jigarthanda where tamannaah will be reprising lakshmi Menon's role in the original version.
Buzz is that this will be bankrolled by actor ajay devgn with sanjay dutt in the role of Bobby Simha and as actor and director farhan akhtar opted out from playing the role of siddharth the team has reportedly approached young hero karthik Aaryan for the role. The actress tasted huge success at last with Sye Raa and the movie ended as a blockbuster in her career.
