karthik aryan is receiving severe backlash from people especially women for misogynistic dialogue from his latest unreleased movie ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh'. He reportedly said some objectionable dialogues pertaining to marital rape in the movie.
Sincerelease of trailer of the movie, few feminist are objecting to a particular dialogue from the movie which is misogynistic in nature, its been referred as objectionable to marital rape. The dialogue says ‘if we ask for sex, we are beggars, if we don’t have sex, we are torturing them, and if we force them, we are rapist'.
Many of women have termed this dialogue terrible and disgusting. In fact they said, marital rape is another form of domestic violence and abuse to women.
Marital rape is considered as rape in many countries, unfortunately its not the case here in india, many women are subjected to marital rape in India. This sexual atrocity doesn’t comes under criminal purview in our country. aryan has made joke out of it, and it is not a laughing matter, says few feminist and women rights activists. Demands of editing the dialogue is getting stronger.
