Young hero Kathir, who last scored a success with Pariyerum Perumal directed by Mari Selvaraj, is next set to star in a template role after trying varied roles in Madha Yaanai Koottam, Kirumi, vikram Vedha.
Kathir played a cop in his recent release 'Sathru', directed by debutant naveen Nanjundaan, and the movie co-stars srushti dange as the female lead. 'Sathru' had Kathir playing a dutiful cop Kathiresan, who opposes the antagonist played by Laguparan, who was the hero of Raatinam.
The movie was shot for more than a year, and recently it got released and it sunk without a trace. The female lead srushti dange pinned high hopes on this project. But it failed. Now, the actress rests all hopes on her glamour and she relies entirely on that. Currently, she works on a new yet-to-be-titled tamil movie featuring debut heroes. This movie will portray her in a completely glam avatar. Meanwhile, Kathir who tasted an average success with 'Bigil' will be seen as a Football player in 'Jada'.
