Superstar rajinikanth and kamal haasan are all set to join hands. The political arena might wait for their union, but the film industry is days away from witnessing their reunion. Rumours regarding rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan's film has been going on for a couple of months now. The latest development suggests that the project might be announced on march 30. As reported earlier, kamal haasan will be producing a film with Superstar rajinikanth under his home banner Raaj Kamal Films Productions. The producers are still finalising the cast and crew.
Earlier, it was reported that lokesh kanagaraj will bankroll the film. Now, names of H Vinoth and other filmmakers are doing the rounds. According to rumours, either H Vinoth or lokesh kanagaraj will be roped in to direct the darbar actor. Ever since the news about rajinikanth and kamal haasan teaming up for a film broke, fans have been waiting with bated breath for the formal announcement.
A few decades ago, kamal haasan and rajinikanth shared screen space in nearly 16 films before deciding to do films on their own. Reportedly, the Vishwaroopam actor advised rajinikanth to do films separately to cater to their respective fan bases. Now, kamal haasan and rajinikanth are hailed as the two pillars of Kollywood.The two legendary actors were last seen in hindi film Geraftaar (1985), in which they shared the screen space with bollywood star amitabh Bachchan.
