telugu film industry which is reeling under severe losses due to the ongoing Lockdown is looking at both the telugu Governments for help. A crucial meeting of telugu Film Producers and directors is going to happen tomorrow in Chiranjeevi's office.
The major agenda of the meeting will be to discuss how to start the shootings and the norms that should be maintained. They will make a proposal and submit it to the government to allow the shootings. They will meet telangana chief minister kcr and submit a memorandum. They will also discuss the roadmap to open the theaters and release the movies. The government hinted at not opening the film theaters in the near future. The entire industry is bleeding losses and many will be bankrupt if the situation continues.
It is known that the government has extended the Lockdown until the 31st of this month. Almost 80% of the Lockdown Rules were relaxed but the telugu film industry did not get any relaxation whatsoever. Producers and exhibitors are the worst-hit as they suffer heavy losses. They are also planning to approach andhra pradesh government later on based on the response of the telangana Government.
