telugu actress Raashi Khanna, who made her tamil debut with Imaikaa Nodigal, went on to be part of several hit films in Kollywood. Now, the actress has gotten the opportunity to romance Suriya in her upcoming film, Aruvaa, directed by Hari.
raashi khanna took part in a Q & A session on her social media page and confirmed the same. A fan had asked her about her upcoming films. She replied, "Aranmanai 3 and a film with Suriya sir under hari sir’s direction in Tamil.. Will give more clarity about two projects in telugu that are under discussions, once the lockdown is over. Previously it was rumoured that pooja hegde was in talks to play the female lead in Aruvaa. However, the actress denied it as a baseless rumour.
Aruvaa marks the sixth collaboration of hari and Suriya after Vel, Aaru, Singam, Singam 2 and Singam 3. The film will be bankrolled by KE Gnanavel raja under his home banner, Studio Green. As of now, composer d imman has been brought on board as the film's music director. The makers will announce the remaining cast and crew in the coming weeks. Suriya was last seen in KV Anand's Kaappaan, which received negative feedback from the audience. His upcoming flick, soorarai pottru, directed by sudha Kongara Prasad, was supposed to release in May. But, the film's release has been postponed due to the novel coronavirus outbreak.
