Cinematography minister Talasani srinivas Yadav met with the industry biggies today to discuss the issues that are to be raised in tomorrow's meeting. Telugu film industry personalities will be meeting telangana Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar and other Senior officials tomorrow to discuss the steps that should be taken to begin the shootings and open the theaters.
Only the last week, chief minister K Chandrasekhara Rao asked industry biggies to meet the Chief Secretary and finalize the modalities to resume industry operations. The meeting will happen at marri chenna reddy Human Resource Development Center (MCHRD)
The government is likely to release a G.O. with the necessary precautions that should be taken while shooting. Sources say that the shootings may be allowed from the first week of June. But the opening of theaters may not be round the corner. The theaters may open only in august, sources say. Around 14,000 film workers and daily wagers of tollywood who are starving for the last couple of months will be relieved with the news of shootings starting.
