The telangana government recently allowed the theaters to open with a ceiling limit of 50% occupancy. AMB Cinemas has decided to open from december 4th following all the necessary safety protocols. christopher Nolan's Tenet will be the first release. Old films like arjun reddy, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Kanulu Kanulanu Dochayante, and war are also being screened. Tenet openings were good much to the relief of the exhibitors.

The bookings have also opened and there has been a poor response to the bookings of  the old movies. Some of the theaters of Asian and PVR Chain are also opening this weekend. It has to be seen how the audience will react to the new normal in the coming days. Trade is hoping that things will be normal at least by Sankranthi.
