Happening hero vijay deverakonda is venturing into bollywood with a Pan india project in puri Jagannadh's direction. In association with puri connects, the film billed to an actioner is being produced jointly by Bollywood's leading production house dharma Productions.

Titled Liger with the tagline Saala Crossbreed, the first look poster sees vijay deverakonda with long hair as a martial artist with gloves on, wherein the background is composite form of lion and tiger.
However, there is a negative response for the title and audience are saying it is puri mark Paithyam Title for vijay Deverakonda. Earlier, the movie was planned to be titled 'Fighter' but hrithik roshan titled his next film as fighter and prompted the makers to change it. fighter would have been more effective title. ramya krishnan plays a prominent role in Liger which is being made in hindi, telugu, tamil, kannada and malayalam languages. The shooting of the film is yet to resume after the Pandemic. The makers are yet to make an announcement about it.
