Powerstar pawan Kalyan's next with director krish is currently being canned in Hyderabad. A high octane action sequence is being canned in a huge set resembling the 17th Century. This yet to be titled film is the first period film in pawan Kalyan's career. Today all of sudden, the movie was announced for sankranthi 2022 release.

The release plan was supposed to be announced for maha Shivaratri but the team advanced the announcement after Prabhas's Salaar was supposed to announce a release date this evening. They suspect Salaar arriving for sankranthi and so, blocked the date in advance. But Salaar announced Summer 2022  Release.

The movie was initially planned for sankranthi this year that means they may be running one year late from the original plan. We have been hearing titles like Virupaksha, Veeramallu, Har Har Mahadev for the film which is Pawan's first-ever period film. 

MM keeravani is composing music for the film and it is his first time with pawan Kalyan. Niddhi Agerwal is the female lead. anasuya is rumored to be playing a crucial character in the film. The movie marks the comeback of Senior producer AM Ratnam to Tollywood.
