Drushyam 2 starring venkatesh is the official remake of malayalam blockbuster, Drishyam 2 starring Mohanlal. The movie has skipped its theatrical release and directly released on amazon Prime Video. The remake film has completed all of its shooting in kerala earlier this week.

The movie shooting has started on march 5th and ended on april 20th. That means the entire shooting has been completed in 47 days flat. There were rumors that the movie may skip its theatrical release and land up on some OTT platform.

Reacting to it suresh babu said, "There is no truth in rumors of OTT release of the film. Whenever theatres run with full capacity, we shall release our film". That means Drushyam 2 will release in OTT only after theatrical release. jeethu joseph, the director of Drishyam 2 is wielding the megaphone for this film.

Also starring Meena, naresh Vijaya Krishna, Nadhiya, Esther, and Kruthika, Drushyam 2 has music composed by Anup Rubens. Besides this film, venkatesh has narappa which has completed its shoot, and f3 which is around 50% completed. The actor will have these three films releasing in 2021 making venkatesh fans delighted.
