'Pushpa' is an upcoming telugu action thriller movie written and directed by Sukumar. The movie is funded by naveen Yerneni and Y. ravi shankar of Mythri movie Makers banner along with Muttamsetty Media. allu arjun essays the lead role while rashmika mandanna does the female lead role. jagapathi babu, prakash raj, Dhananjay, and sunil are part of the supporting cast. devi sri prasad has composed tunes.


The technical team involves Miroslaw Kuba Brozek for Cinematography and Karthika srinivas for editing. Fahadh Faasil is doing the role of antagonist in this movie. The movie is a Pan-India film and initially, it was scheduled to release on august 13, 2021. The movie is now stalled as allu arjun himself was tested positive for the deadly virus. 


Meanwhile, there are reports going around in tollywood corcles that the movie will be made in two parts. But this news made fans of bunny unhappy and even some harsh comments were made on social media about this. Most of the fans feel that making the movie in two parts will be suicidal. sukumar takes a lot of time to direct his movies and we need to wait and see what is the outcome of 'Pushap' in the coming days.
