'Pushpa' is an upcoming telugu action thriller movie written and directed by Sukumar. The movie is funded by naveen Yerneni and Y. ravi shankar of Mythri movie Makers banner along with Muttamsetty Media. allu arjun essays the lead role while rashmika mandanna does the female lead role. jagapathi babu, prakash raj, Dhananjay, and sunil are part of the supporting cast. devi sri prasad has composed tunes.


For the past week, there has been a huge noise regarding the release of Pushpa in two parts. However, the makers have not made any official announcement regarding the release of the movie in two parts so far. But now, Y ravi shankar who is one of the producers of Pushpa confirmed in his recent interview that the movie will release in two parts.


He said, "The movie's plot has a lot of storylines to be conveyed and it is difficult to narrate the complete story plot within 2.5 hours duration. So we agreed to release the movie in two parts. We already discussed this with the actor and director of the movie. We will kick-start the second part after we wrap up the first part. So far, we have finished 10 percent of Pushpa’s second part."
