'Pushpa' is an upcoming telugu action thriller movie written and directed by Sukumar. The movie is funded by naveen Yerneni and Y. ravi shankar of Mythri movie Makers banner along with Muttamsetty Media. allu arjun essays the lead role while rashmika mandanna does the female lead role. jagapathi babu, prakash raj, Dhananjay, and sunil are part of the supporting cast. devi sri prasad has composed tunes.


The technical team involves Miroslaw Kuba Brozek for Cinematography and Karthika srinivas for editing. Fahadh Faasil is doing the role of antagonist in this movie.  The movie is a Pan-India film and it was initially scheduled to release on august 13, 2021. But due to the ongoing COVID crisis just like other biggies, the delay was inevitable and the makers even planned to release the movie in two parts.


As we have reported earlier, the movie will be made in two parts and the responsibility on sukumar also has increased big time. He has to pack a punch in both parts and keep the audience engaged. A while ago we reported that a special item number will be done by a noted heroine and now as the movie is divided into two parts it is confirmed that the song will be shot in another part as well. The team has approached Milky beauty tamannaah and the actress gladly accepted the offer.
