Telugu audiences appreciate music a lot. That is why the music albums become huge hits here. They enjoy music to the core and the music directors as well as filmmakers make sure to deliver the best music to them. The music directors have so far composed many such songs that stood as evergreen songs in the history. In fact no other industry appreciates music as much as tollywood does.

Other than the tollywood music directors, music directors from other languages also scored music for telugu films. music directors belonging to industries like Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and malayalam proved their talent in telugu with their wonderful music in the past. However that is not what is happening now. The present music directors from other industries have failed to score impressive music in Telugu.

Earlier music directors like Bappi Lahari, Lakshmikanth Pyarelal, R.D. Barman, sandeep chowta delivered hit music albums, but they failed to impress the music lovers later. The current generation of music directors like amit Trivedi, shankar Ehsaan Loy Gopi Sundar,  Anirudh, GV Prakash, vishal Chandrasekhar, Yvan Shankar,  Harish Jairaj etc are delivering their best in their own industries, but in telugu they didn't leave any mark as of yet.
