Nandamuri balakrishna, the actor and politician who is renowned for making provocative statements, has courted controversy once again with his comments in a recent interview. balakrishna told a local tv station that he had no idea who Oscar-winning musician AR rahman is. Furthermore, he insults India's highest civilian honour, the Bharat Ratna, by claiming that it isn't even deserving of his dad late actor and politician NTR's toenails.

Balakrishna stated in an interview with a tv broadcaster, "All of these honours are the same  as my foot. No amount of money can substitute for my family's commitment to telugu film. I also learned that AR rahman had received an Academy Award. I have no idea who AR rahman is. These remarks from balayya has caused a big stir now.

The legend actor then compares himself to hollywood filmmaker james cameron, claiming that, unlike cameron, he prefers to complete projects swiftly. "Like hollywood director james cameron, who drags out his shoots for years, I want to wind up my shoots fast. I feel that creating more films and getting more hits in less time is the way to go. That is my working approach "", stated the actor.
