The current buzz in the industry circles is that samantha akkineni will be teaming up with rebel star prabhas for a new project titled 'Project K' and the shooting for this movie will begin soon. Of course, this venture will be helmed by nag ashwin who earlier directed the National Award-winning movie 'Mahanati' with Keerthy suresh in the lead role. 


Even though deepika padukone is the female lead role, reports confirm that samantha will be a part of this project and she will be essaying the role of a scientist in this project. samantha got excited as soon as she was offered this secondary role and she was happy as she grabbed the opportunity to work opposite prabhas in a new movie. 


Right now, nag ashwin is busy with the pre-production works and he is in discussion with the Art director to construct some huge sets of a science lab. bollywood Big B amitabh bachchan is also part of this biggie and already the team started shooting with few talkie portions and at the same time, the Art director also constructs a huge new set worth Rs.50 Crores at the Ramoji Film City.
