Despite this, the actress described it as her most "challenging" picture to date, with the genre it concentrates upon, comedy, being the most difficult to pull off. samantha Ruth Prabhu, speaking on the challenges of making Oh Baby, said, "I recall the reason why I wanted to do this film was to break the chains from the damsel in distress, social message-driven movies." comedy was unfamiliar territory for me, but I'd always wanted to give it a shot, and I'm glad I did because I had a great time and learned that comedy is incredibly difficult."
