The National Film Awards were presented today in the national capital, Delhi. The awards were presented to films that have made outstanding performances in various categories of films in all languages across the country. The award was presented by Vice President of india Venkaiah Naidu. However, the National Film Awards are considered to be the best film awards in the country. These are presented at the end of each year. However, this year, several films from tollywood also received National Film Awards in various categories.
Most importantly, maharshi directed by star director Vamsi Paidy Palli and starring superstar Mahesh Babu, won the National Film Awards in two categories. The jersey film, directed by gautam Thinnanuri and starring natural star nani, also won the National Film Award in two categories. However, Nano’s jersey received the award for Best telugu Film. The same film won the naveen Nooli Award for Best Editing.
maharshi also won awards in two categories. maharshi was selected as the best entertaining film. raju sundaram also won the National Film Award for Best Choreographer. The award was presented by deputy chief minister Venkaiah Naidu. However, both the films have made their way to the tollywood box office. Apart from that, these two films are also the best films for nani and Mahesh Babu.
