Samantha has been criticized for accepting to dance in an item number for a hefty pay check.
Samantha is one of the top heroines in the tollywood industry. She went through a divorce recently which ended her 4-year marriage and 10-year relationship with naga Chaitanya. Samantha who was supposed to take from acting is back into movies as a diversion. She has signed only 3 tamil movies with one being Vignesh Shivn's Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaathal. She has not signed a telugu film yet.
Being so, samantha has accepted to do an item dance in Allu Arjun's Pushpa movie. A massive set is being erected for the song and samantha is expected to be seen in a mass and glamorous avatar. She is rumored to have got 1.5 crores as remuneration for the song which is way high for an actress for a single song. This has been criticized now for the reason that samantha used to say that she would accept any role only if she has a job satisfaction doing that role.
Hence, samantha accepting to do an item dance just for the hefty pay check has reduced her integrity in the industry. Samantha's next big telugu release will be Gunasekhar's Shakuntalam movie, an epic mythology film.
