With rivalry in the sub-20,000 three-row SUV sector heating up, hyundai wishes to make every effort to highlight the Alcazar's performance, features, and space qualities. Alcazar debuted in india in 2021 and has performed admirably thus far. The car is driven by a 1.5-litre diesel engine and a 2.0-litre petrol engine, and is essentially an enlarged version of the hugely successful Creta. There's also a choice of manually or automatically gearbox, as well as a six- or seven-seat arrangement.

While the Alcazar competes against Tata Safari and mahindra XUV700, its latest rival is likely to be the Kia Carens, which is set to debut in February. Bookings for the Carens began at $25,000, with Kia placing a large bet on the car to compete.
