Malaika Arora hasn't looked back since she made her musical debut in dil Se's 'Chaiyaan Chaiyaan.' Since then, the stunning diva has performed numerous item numbers, most of which have been chart-topping hits. In a recent podcast interview, malaika defended the entire premise of item numbers in Bollywood. They're only approximations of the indian films' colorful, larger-than-life nature, she claims.

She also admitted that, in today's world, the concept has diminished significantly. Because there's a lot more emphasis on not needing to apprehend, and so on. malaika, on the other hand, went on to say that she never felt like she was being objectified. In fact, she enjoyed being the center of attention. She had the impression that she was in command. She was always somebody who enjoys being in command, according to her. She despises being told what to do, how to do it, or where to go.

Malaika joined 'Chaiyaa Chaiyaa' at the request of her friend Farah Khan. The deal, she claimed, was absolutely too good to give up. Not only will she be collaborating with Farah Khan, but also with filmmaker Mani Ratnam, musician AR Rahman, and cameraman Santosh Sivan. She'd also be compensated for something she already enjoyed. She has also recorded item songs like as 'Munni Badnaam,' 'Anarkali Disco Chaali,' and others.
