Their movies get worldwide attraction and frankly bollywood movies are used in hollywood movies when talking or referring about india which is a stereotype. Leaving that, bollywood business is way larger than any other industry and consequently the heroes who act in them get insanely high salary.
As far as bollywood is considered, the Khans and akshay kumar are the major players. Shahrukh Khan and Amir Khan have moved to profit based share of 60% and 75% respectively. Salman Khan on the other hand was the first actor to get 100 cr remuneration (for Sultan).
