Chennai: producer dil raju has released an update with the photo that the hyderabad shooting of Vijay starrer commander 66 is over. Fans are celebrating the photo rather than the update.

After Beast, Vijay is starring in a film directed by telugu director vamsi Baidapally. The film, tentatively titled Thalapathy 66, is being produced by dil raju under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. Daman has composed the music for this film which has been made into a mega-budget film.

The shooting of the film Thalapathy 66 started with pooja on april 6 and the shooting which took place in chennai for a few days only featured short song scenes. This was followed by the second and third phases of shooting at the annapurna Studio in Hyderabad. The shooting, which began on april 6, has been going on for more than a month.
