Morbius streams for free on Twitch for no apparent reason, eliciting amusing reactions in the community. Morbius is the third episode in Sony's developing Spider-Man Universe, following tom Hardy's Venom and its sequel, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, which was released in theaters this past april 1. Dr. Michael Morbius, a scientist whose attempts to cure himself of a rare blood disorder inadvertently infect him with a transgenic form of vampirism, giving him all of the superhuman abilities associated with blood-sucking creatures without any of the superstitious weaknesses, is introduced in the film.

As the title protagonist, a.k.a. the Living Vampire, oscar winner and Suicide Squad star Jared Leto leads the Morbius cast, alongside doctor Who's Matt Smith as the major adversary, Milo, Morbius' surrogate brother who suffers from the same uncommon blood disease. Dr. Emil Nicholas, Morbius and Milo's mentor and father figure, is played by Jared Harris, while Martine Bancroft, Morbius' colleague and love interest, is played by Adria Arjona. As two FBI agents on the hunt for Morbius, Tyrese Gibson of the Fast & Furious franchise and Al Madrigal round out the cast.

The full Morbius movie was mysteriously played on Twitch on loop for approximately 12 hours yesterday, and over 10,000 people watched it, with funny reactions flooding the chat. "It's Morbin time," and "Morbius Sweep" were spammed into the discussion by twitter user @Radstads, who filmed the entire event and grabbed images of viewers' reactions.
