With the production and releasing of films without any issues relating to COVID, the telugu film industry is practically back to normal. The film industry workers, who struggled just like the other crafts involved in making the movie, are currently going on strike in order to secure pay raises. Even though the film industry has returned to its pre-pandemic levels, the cine workers allege that their pay has not increased.

The film union's requests include...

Cleaner and production boy costs (Per day)
With (breakfast + lunch + home pickup - Rs. 1145
The employee's anticipated price is Rs1488 (30%).

Rs. 2290 on Sundays and holidays; expected to be Rs. 2977

Drivers' daily rate, including breakfast and lunch, is Rs. 1055
Rs 1362 was anticipated.

Sundays and major holidays: Rs. 2110; anticipated: Rs. 2743

Light man's daily rate: Rs. 1100 Expected: Rs. 1440

2200 rupees on Sundays and holidays Expected: 2860 rupees

Combatants: Rs. 3265; anticipated: Rs. 4244

Dancers: 2800 Rupees; Expected: 3640 Rupees

The film union appears to be applying further pressure to the federation to increase their pay, and until that happens, they will continue their strike. The strike is not yet called off and things look bleak as no amicable solution has popped out yet.
