The thriller Rama Rao On Duty by Raviteja is meant to have certain commercial elements. Unfortunately, it only provides a predictable story and narrative. The majority of the first half is spent on setting up the scene, but the actual plot doesn't begin until another hour. The main character of the tale is a deputy collector who is searching for roughly 200 missing people. The unimpressive first half drags with a forced item song and a needless song from the flashback.

It's anticipated that the second half will have a fascinating theory and investigation drama. But the predictable and tedious narration also utterly failed. Both the twists and the overall plot are quite predictable. As always, Raviteja is himself. With his persona, venu thottempudi utterly falls flat. It is utterly boring and not funny at all. The formula of three songs and purported action blocks in the name of "commercial potboilers" needs to end, and soon. Rama Rao's responsibility was disappointing.

The movie has disappointed telugu fans who are in the USA and now the makers should do something to pull back the audience once again into the cinemas. However, a flop is a flop and tollywood should wake up soon.
