The month of July 2022 has finally come to an end with a depressing outcome for the telugu film industry as "Ramarao On Duty" likewise failed to pique the audience's interest and struggled to draw in patrons. Here is a look at what has transpired in relation to the types of films that tollywood filmmakers produced and presented to telugu audiences.

Gopichand's Pakka Commercial, which was released in the first week of July, was met with high expectations, but director Maruthi fell short of them by directing yet another formulaic film. Then followed Lavanya Tripathi's Happy Birthday, which was met with high anticipation because Mathu Vadalara, the last film by filmmaker Ritesh Rana, was well received. But because of the "headache-inducing substance," that too has fallen by the wayside.

After that, ram Pothineni's The Warrior debuted, but despite earning more than 16 crores at the box office, the movie ended up being a financial failure for its producers due to the exorbitant production expenditures it incurred. And finally, naga Chaitanya's Thank You, which barely made 3 crores after its opening weekend, was the biggest letdown, bringing down both the hero's market and the telugu film industry as a whole. Then followed Ramarao On Duty, which debuted to rave reviews after Raviteja and the film's director made numerous boasts about it. Finally, the material fell short of expectations. With the exception of Ram's The Warrior, which is marginally better in terms of losses, the producers and distributors are going to lose a lot of money on all the other projects.
