Sometimes movies catch people off guard and go on to become hits thanks to word-of-mouth advertising. This occurs more frequently on OTT platforms than for movies opening in theatres. In general, malayalam movies are the best at receiving high ratings, however a hindi film recently accomplished that feat on Netflix. The movie is called "Darlings," and it centres on domestic abuse, which is all too common but is handled in a way that captures the audience's interest.

Jasmeet K Reen is an excellent director, thus it's surprising that this is her first film. Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma, and alia bhatt all deliver outstanding performances. This movie has some negative aspects, but overall, it has a compelling story. If the filmmaker continues to produce thorough work with attention to detail, her career appears to be on the upward.
