There was a rumour that Massraja Raviteja missed out on this big film shortly after the release of "Bimbisara," which received a unanimous round of "blockbuster discussion" from both audiences and critics. The actor from "Ramarao On Duty" was reportedly the first to hear the script but didn't trust the direction of Vasisht Mallidi.

In response, Vasisht is now asserting that none of those rumours are true. "I wrote this narrative just for Kalyanram in 2019, and ever since then, I've been sitting on the script. The rest, as they say, is history. Yes, I told Raviteja a commercial story, but this is not it, the filmmaker added. The filmmaker is currently receiving blockbuster proposals from major production companies and actors alike, despite the fact that he hasn't spoken about his abandoned films with Nithin, Ram, and Allu Sirish.

However, no director will ever publicly admit that he first narrated the same movie to another hero because doing so would be unfair to both the hero who appeared in the movie and the hero who was left out. When it comes to Bimbisara, the movie is essentially releasing its mass potential at the box office as it just finished its first week at the telugu box office, earning a share of probably Rs 28–30 crores very easily.
