It has already been reported that "Karthikeya 2" director chandu Mondeti was approached by mega-producer Allu Arvind and requested to write a script for Allu Arjun. However, when the director told a narrative, things changed, and the most recent rumour is that the director may choose a prominent bollywood actor.

There are rumours that producer Allu Arvind felt compelled to make this movie in bollywood rather than here after hearing Chandu's narration of the story. In order to properly organise a pan-India project, he is also alleged to have encouraged the filmmaker to get ready to present the script to a prominent bollywood actor like Hrithik Roshan. One is left to question why Arvind chose to approach a bollywood celebrity for the movie rather than his son Bunny.

Additionally, allu arjun has reportedly already locked in a few projects after pushpa 2, though nothing has been formally announced. For this reason, Allu Arvind has chosen to have chandu direct a different hero. There is currently no reliable official information concerning these events, therefore we must wait and see what will ultimately happen to the director of karthikeya 2, a bollywood hit as well.
