The film had collected 4 crores on the opening day, while on the second day the film's earnings jumped by 81.25 percent and the business of 7.25 crores was done. The movie earned Rs 8 crore with a jump of 10.34 percent on the third day.

Munjya is the fourth film in Maddock Films' horror-comedy universe. Earlier, the makers have made films like stree (2018), Roohi (2021) and Bhediya (2022). Now people's eyes are on stree 2 and Bhediya 2.

The makers have not yet made an official announcement regarding the OTT release of the film Munjya. However, it is being told that its OTT rights have been bought by Disney Plus Hotstar.
