The rest of the cast including Jessica McNamee and Rainn Wilson are adequate.

Harry Gregson Williams delivers a stunning background score matching the thrilling mood of The Meg, and cinematography by Tom Stern captures the murderous shark effects in all its glory. After several interesting and entertaining flicks like National treasure and last Vegas, director Jon Turteltaub is back, this time with a tale of man vs mega shark, and has come out in flying colors with his impressive screenplay. While the whole plot is as old as hills, reminiscent of films like Jaws and deep blue sea.
