David Kerr, best known for his comedy drama series, makes a return to films, with the third installment of the hit comic spy series Johnny English, with Johnny English Strikes Again, marking the return of Rowan Atkinson on screen after several cameo appearances and after the second installment in 2011. Britain is facing a cyber attack, revealing identities of all MI7 agents, and now the Prime Minister (Emma Thompson) who is set to host her first G12 summit enlists the help of the hilarious spy Johnny English who's now teaching techniques of spying, and is set to retire soon, to help her in the cyber attack, and Johnny now joins hands with his sidekick Bough (Ben Miller) and how the duo along with Russian spy Ophelia (Olga Kuryleno) achieves the mission is what Johnny English strikes again is all about.

Rowan Atkinson is at his comic best with hilarious reactions and spontaneous and silly body language evoking instant laughs, and he is well supported by Ben Miller as the comic scenes between them are heavily hilarious with humour going overdose. Olga Kurylenko is hot and saucy and looks perfect for her role, while the rest of the cast including Emma Thomson are adequate.

Howard Goodall's background score is good, and elevates the humorous episodes and the action sequences well, while cinematography by Florian Hoff meister is spectacular capturing the stunning visuals perfectly, Taut editing by Tony Cranstoun makes sure Johnny English strikes again is gripping.

Director David Kerr has entered into the Johnny English franchise with this third installment of the series and this time around he has chosen a routine plot for Johnny English strikes again, as Johnny this time has to fight a cyber criminal and help protect the data, and the director has made effective use of Rowan Atkinson's funny body language and poker faced comic skills well, as he has laced the first half of the movie with a mix of serious and comic stuff while the second half is high on comedy with some laugh riot moments, With Rowan in top form as Johnny and with a rich technical aspects well supporting the movie, David Kerr delivers an entertaining flick with Johnny English strikes again.
