Actor Jiiva had last acted in the disastrous crime thriller Kee helmed by debutant Kalees and his next planned release happens to be Gorilla helmed by Don sandy who had earlier directed the disastrous movie named mahabalipuram.
Earlier Gorilla was planned and announced to be released a few months back, but now the movie got released by July and the movie was a flop. But now, Animal welfare group Peta has opposed the movie and has asked people not to encourage such movies. This has come as a huge shocker as what is the necessity to speak after all these days.
Peta has come down heavily against using a real chimpanzee in the movie and has quoted reasons like separating the primate from mothers, abusing, animals suffering for life, and also mentioned examples of CG generated animals in movies like Planet of the apes and Jungle book. shalini Pandey has done the female lead role in that movie. PETA has clearly targeted a movie again for publicity.
